Sponsoring · 2026 edition
Sponsor a room full of the people who actually run Swiss networks.
SwiNOG relies on the support of the community for everything — presentations, loaner equipment, and the venue itself. Your sponsorship keeps the meeting possible for the engineers who attend, and puts you in front of them at the same time.
About SwiNOG
An informal group, since the year 2000.
The Swiss Network Operators Group is an informal group of people, which deals with the technology and operation of the Swiss Internet and Swiss networks. It was established in early 2000.
- SwiNOG aims to improve the quality of Internet services in Switzerland by promoting the free exchange of technical ideas and information between companies and organisations, as well as beyond national borders.
- SwiNOG is non-political and is not a lobby group. It may serve as a focus for discussion on technical aspects of political, legal or commercial issues that affect the Swiss Internet.
- SwiNOG is aimed at technical personnel working for service providers active in Switzerland — but it is open to everyone.
- SwiNOG uses mailing lists, websites a telegram channel and onsite meetings to invite individuals and companies to participate.
Over 150 senior staff from the Swiss and international network industry attend the bi-annual SwiNOG meetings.
Why sponsor
Five reasons.
What you actually get out of sponsoring SwiNOG. None of this is marketing fluff — it is direct benefit to your brand, your sales pipeline and your engineering recruitment.
Reach the people who run the wires
SwiNOG is the Swiss counterpart to NANOG — a unique room of network engineers, architects and operators where the top minds in the country meet. Sponsoring a SwiNOG event is recognised as supporting the community, and your brand gets credited as truly invested in it.
Connect to the who-is-who of networking
Meet an engineer, a C-level decision-maker, or an éminence grise from a small ISP or a key service provider for a one-to-one conversation. People come to SwiNOG to learn from other professionals — they are open to new services and products as a result.
Socialise — beer-driven development
It is a proven fact that having a beer with the right person at the right time can lead to (big) business. Conference dinners and side-rooms are where most of the deals actually start.
Fit any budget
Sponsor levels start at CHF 2’900. There is no excuse not to engage with the community at some level, and we are happy to build a custom package on top.
