The SwissIX website’s “About” ends its history in 2018 with: And the story goes on … to be continued. And indeed, the story went on. In 2019, planning started on how a new, technical SwissIX could look. Having decided to stay with outsourcing, the board asked for experienced IXP operators to run the infrastructure.
This presentation briefly outlines the story and shows what has been implemented and what will be done on the non-technical aspects.
